Melanie Mae Hines is a motivated young professional with a passion for serving her community. By growing up in the military lifestyle of consistent relocation, making new friends, and adapting to changing environments, she has mastered how to embrace the present and turn any house into a home. After traveling from Virginia, around Florida, and on to Birmingham, Melanie recently moved from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, to Cullman, Alabama, once again embracing the Southern hospitality, home cooked meals, and summer days on the Smith Lake waters. As a young girl, the lake was a quick weekend trip full of excitement with the family, so she knows the value of family first and the importance of making a house to feel like your home or vacation getaway. 

After graduating from the Alabama School of Fine Arts in 2011, Melanie attended the University of Alabama, performing on the Alabama Dance Team, and ultimately received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2015.

Melanie and her husband Taylor love any adventure outdoors with their two rescue pups, Copper & Duval— and they officially tied the knot on October 23, 2021! After purchasing their first home on Smith Lake, her passion for real estate and working with others led her to pursue a career as a realtor, joining Lake League Real Estate in 2022. 

Melanie's interests don't end there— she is passionate about living a clean lifestyle and investing into her community. When she isn't showing dream homes on Smith Lake, you can find her teaching dance at her mobile dance company, The Ballet Bus! She is also a member of the Young Professionals of Cullman, serving on the board as executive coordinator. 

Melanie strives to build a long lasting relationship with her clients by providing a personable approach to buying and selling, and she aims to surpass her clients expectations on every occasion. She believes loyalty, punctuality, and honesty go a long way!
